Homegroup.Online uses the term “vendor” to describe the electronic payment services (Venmo, PayPal, etc.).
The following vendors have a fee for service. Rates depend on the specific vendor and can be found on their websites.
Debit/Credit Card, Apple Pay®, Google Pay®, PayPal®, Venmo®, and Cash App®
Zelle®, cash, bill pay, or other checks do not have a vendor fee.
Homegroup.Online does NOT use “free” peer-to-peer versions of these services. Contributions from members to groups are NOT considered peer-to-peer transactions by the vendor nor the IRS. Homegroup.Online uses the business version of all vendor services.
